Priced on the same night, 2026-10-10: Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is $615 a night less. They are 5.4 km apart.

Book Hotel Bel-Air if the point of the trip is the hotel itself: at $1,386 a night it is pricier than the Four Seasons Beverly Hills at $1,008, but it has the higher guest rating (9.6 vs 9.2) and the setting to match. Book the Four Seasons if you want a five-star base close to Rodeo Drive with fewer frills and a lower rate. Both are 5-star with full-service spas and outdoor pools; the only listed differences are golf access at Bel-Air and a hot tub at the Four Seasons.
Bel-Air sits up in a Bel-Air canyon, twelve acres of gardens and swans on a pond, a mission-style main building from the 1940s with pink stucco walls and terracotta roofs half-buried in eucalyptus and sycamore. The Bar & Lounge has a fireplace, a grand piano, and windows onto the garden, the kind of room built for people who have nowhere to be and no interest in being seen getting there. Rooms lean toward plush white bedding and spa-adjacent bathrooms, garden views through large windows rather than city ones. It draws an older, quieter money, people who booked because their parents booked, and honeymooners who found the swans on Instagram.
Hotel Bel-Air is right for anyone who wants seclusion, gardens, and a piece of old Hollywood atmosphere as much as the room itself.
The Four Seasons Beverly Hills sits on Doheny at the edge of Beverly Hills proper, a tower hotel with private balconies behind French doors, air conditioning, and modern furnishings, closer to the bustle of Rodeo Drive and the restaurant rows of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood than Bel-Air's hidden canyon. The public rooms and pool deck read as competent five-star Four Seasons rather than singular; the appeal is the brand's consistency and the address, not a one-off architectural personality. It suits business travellers, families, and anyone who wants five-star service without a ten-minute drive up a canyon to get to dinner.
The Four Seasons is right for anyone who wants central Beverly Hills, reliable five-star service, and a lower nightly rate.
Booking the cheaper Four Seasons over Bel-Air means giving up golf access and roughly four hundred dollars a night, though it gains a hot tub that Bel-Air's listing doesn't have.
Bel-Air's mission-style architecture, hidden canyon setting, and piano bar by the fireplace make it the more atmospheric place to simply sit in, where the Four Seasons is a well-run tower with a better address for walking to dinner.

“I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes—twice—while my partner was inside, and the staff never once informed her that I was waiting.”
Bel-Air guests come away happier, describing an almost faultless stay, while Four Seasons guests mostly rave but one reviewer reports a distressing service failure.

“Amazing stay and easily one of the best hotels we’ve been to.”
As expected, this was probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The look and feel of the hotel is an experience in itself, and the whole place feels incredibly calm, luxurious, and well thought through. It’s also in a great location for spending a few days in LA. We were upgraded to a much bigger room for our stay, which made it feel even more special. The room was super comfortable, spacious, spotless, an
We honestly couldn’t fault it!

“Amazing 3 night stay!”
Had the most incredible 3 night stay!! Booked balcony deluxe room and had requested to face back of hotel/high floor since we are light sleepers. Sam in in-house reservations was amazing and our room on 15th floor was the most quiet room ever!! Everyone at hotel super friendly and everything very clean, beautiful decor. We especially loved The Penalty box to watch Cup games. Breakfast and room service also great. Co
“Four Seasons…always a good Choice”
The Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Drive is a truly wonderful hotel from which to explore beautiful Beverly Hills. The hotel is very well-maintained, the reception staff was friendly, and our Hollywood Suite was spacious and cozy. Since we were staying on the ninth floor, we were able to make wonderful use of the two balconies. On the fourth floor is the pool area, which is spacious for an LA city hotel. A pretty poo
“Old timey Luxury, soon should get a little facelift.”
Long (10 day) business stay at the Four Seasons. Atmosphere: luxurious, yet understated. Harkens back to the early 2000 and one can easily understand why many celebrities opt to stay here, away from prying eyes. The lobby could use a bit of a refresher. Service: top notch, especially Tom the bellman and housekeeping. Check in desk was courteous but nothing extraordinary. Location: decent, but action is at least a 20
