Steve Wynn built Encore as the calmer, more residential sibling to Wynn next door, all copper and floral carpet against dark wood, with a domed conservatory of stained glass and a curved tower that keeps the crowds thinner than most of the Strip. Every room is a suite, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a sitting area, so the building reads more like a private club than a casino resort even though the gaming floor and two nightclubs are steps away. The palette is warm rather than flashy - burgundy, gold, dark timber - and it draws a guest who wants five-star polish without the full Bellagio spectacle downstairs.

Bellagio
Bellagio opened in 1998 modelled loosely on the Italian town on Lake Como, and it is still one of the few Strip hotels where the exterior does real work: the Fountains perform on the lake out front, and the lobby ceiling is Dale Chihuly's blown-glass Fiori di Como, a canopy of coloured glass overhead as you check in. Inside, marble bathrooms, a conservatory that changes its botanical display seasonally, and five courtyard pools give it a resort layered onto a casino rather than the other way round. It is the more theatrical, more photographed of the two, and pulls the broadest mix of guests on the Strip, from conventions to honeymooners.
Bellagio suits first-time Vegas visitors and anyone who wants the fountains, the gardens and the pool scene on their own doorstep.

“amazing resort, just very pricey. excellent hotel gym but DO NOT go 7-9am”
suuuuuuper nice room. we stayed in the Wynn not the newer encore. every restaurant was amazing, the pool and pool service were amazing, every staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. cons: very expensive. ie $30+ for a sandwich. basically everything is 2-3x what you'd pay off the Strip [i'm a local, we were on a staycation]. other thing is i'm a gym rat, been to literally hundreds of gyms esp during my many years o

We had an amazing stay at the Bellagio Hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a very comfortable bed and great amenities.
