We had an amazing stay at the Bellagio Hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a very comfortable bed and great amenities. The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning and creates a luxurious first impression with its elegant décor and lively atmosphere. The pool area was clean, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind after exploring Las Vegas. The staff were friendly and professional, makin

Fontainebleau at $381 beats Bellagio's $425 on price and edges it slightly on guest rating (9 vs 8.7 across a much larger review base), and it has a rooftop Bellagio lacks. Bellagio counters with breakfast, a hot tub, and golf, plus the harder-to-quantify pull of the Fountains and its botanical gardens. If you want amenity breadth and that particular Strip theatre, book Bellagio; if you want the newer build, the rooftop, and to save money, book Fontainebleau.
Bellagio
Bellagio was built in 1998 by Steve Wynn as a homage to the Italian lake town, and it still plays that role at street level: the Fountains, the Conservatory & Botanical Garden that changes its planting scheme seasonally, glass ceilings by Dale Chihuly in the lobby made of hand-blown flowers in reds and yellows. The rooms have marble bathrooms and the kind of hushed, slightly dated luxury that comes from being one of the Strip's original mega-resorts rather than its newest one. Five courtyard pools give it an unusually resort-like, un-Vegas calm behind the casino floor. The crowd is older, dressier, here for the show and the steakhouse more than the club.
Bellagio suits people who want the classic Strip spectacle, gardens, and multiple pools, and don't mind an older building.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas, MICHELIN Key Award Hotel
Fontainebleau Las Vegas opened in 2023, decades after its Miami namesake, and it goes for a cooler, more minimal glamour, dark stone, brass accents, big-format art in the lobby, floor-to-ceiling glass rather than the ornament of the older resorts. The rooftop pool deck and bar are the calling card, high above the Strip with proper skyline views rather than a walled-in courtyard. It reads as newer money, sleeker surfaces, less garden, more glass box, and the crowd it draws is correspondingly younger and more nightlife-oriented.
Fontainebleau suits people who want a newer room, a rooftop scene, and to save money on the room rate.
At $381 Fontainebleau does without breakfast, a hot tub, and golf, which Bellagio has; conversely Bellagio has no rooftop, so the trade runs both ways rather than one hotel simply having less.
Bellagio is the more characterful place to be, because Chihuly glass and a botanical garden built into a casino resort still has no real equivalent, even against Fontainebleau's cleaner and newer rooftop glamour.

“Winderful except for the permeating smoke smell”
Beautiful bathroom
The AC brings upstairs the air smelling if cigarettes. It’s very noticeable and not a good feature.

“I would stay here again.”
The hotel was beautiful, the room was well appointed and comfortable.
My only complaint was that this is Vegas. We got there at 9pm and by the time we got checked in and were ready for dinner, all restaurants were closed except for the grab and go one.
“Very rude stuff that doesn’t solve any issues you might have”
The property is new. So it was clean and smelled good. But there were a couple of things that spoiled all the impression.
The pool didn’t have enough shade. Water in the pool was too cold. Even with extreme heat outside the difference in temperatures was unbearable. Stuff is very rude. It takes an out for them to answer your request. They talk to you in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. We had 50$ credit for the food. They didn’t e
